After telling you all about my very first Projekt: Gesund Leben Retreat in the last post, I’d like to share a recipe for a snack that was very especially beloved by the retreat participants: Curried Cashews!

In preparation for the retreat, I ordered a selection of nuts and dried fruits online, and that’s when I discovered cashews with curry powder. They were delicious, so I knew I had to make them myself.

I added a little coconut blossom syrup to the cashews because I love the combination of “sweet and curry.” The syrup also helps the spice mixture stick to the cashews better.

Sweet and Salty Curried Cashews

ZUTATEN:
  • 200 g cashews*
  • 1 tsp salt*
  • 2 tbsp Curry*
  • 1 tbsp olive oil*
  • 1 tbsp coconut blossom syrup*
ANLEITUNG:
  1. Preheat oven to 175°C (top and bottom heat).
  2. Combine all ingredients and spread out over a baking tray lined with baking paper.
  3. Bake in preheated oven for 12 minutes, turning once halfway through.
