You may already be familiar with my Unicorn Smoothie – or at least you recognize it from the photo! It was served as a pre-dinner drink as part of my Clean Eating Dinner Evenings, and I’m excited to share the recipe with you here today!

This magical snow-white smoothie is made from banana, coconut butter, hemp seeds, and maca powder, and gets its name from the colorful spice mixes that give it that enchanting “unicorn factor.” The spice mixes I use are actually two herbal teas from Sonnentor: the first is my all-time favorite, “Alles Liebe,”* which consists of pink peppercorns, strawberries, raspberries, vanilla, and coriander; the blue and yellow dashes of color come from “Flower Power,”* which contains vanilla, ginger, cloves, cinnamon, rose petals, marigolds, cornflowers, sunflower petals, and beet sugar.

ZUTATEN:
  • 1 banana ripe
  • 1 tsp maca powder*
  • 1 tbsp hempseeds* shelled
  • 4 tbsp coconut butter*
  • 1 pinch "Alle Liebe" from Sonnentor*
  • 1 pinch "Flower Power" from Sonnentor*
ANLEITUNG:
  1. Peel and chop banana. Purée or mix with the maca, hemp seeds, coconut, and 350 ml water.
  2. Divide into two glasses and garnish with the spice mixes.
