Do you guys love Ben & Jerry’s Cookie Dough Ice Cream as much as I do? Sadly, I can’t eat it that often, since it’s loaded with refined sugar! This unfortunate reality put me on the question for a healthier alternative, which led to the creation of this raw vegan Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough recipe.

A few days ago, I introduced you all to raw cacao – which I also use here in the form of cacao nibs for the “chocolate chips!”

Healthy Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bites

ANLEITUNG:
  1. Haferflocken und Cashew-Nüsse in einen Mixer oder in die Küchenmaschine geben, beides solange im Hochleistungsmixer mixen* , bis eine Mehl-ähnliche Konsistenz entsteht.
  2. Kokosblütensirup, Vanille und 4 EL Wasser dazugeben und noch einmal mixen.
  3. Den Teig in eine Schüssel geben und die Kakao Nibs dazu geben. Mit den Händen vermengen und aus dem Teig Kugeln formen.

Theoretically, these energy balls should keep for a few weeks in the fridge – but we’ve never found out, since they never last that long in our house! ;-) I make them quite often, and my husband loves them, too!

My Cookie Dough Bites are made with all-natural, clean ingredients so you can eat them in good conscience. Just don’t over do it, since they are pretty dense! :-) Though they might not taste 100% like cookie dough, they do come pretty close! And they’re a great alternative to Cookie Dough Ice Cream (maybe throw ’em in some Nicecream?), but much better for you. What more could you want? :-)
