“One-Pan Pasta” or “One-Pot Pasta,” which is often attributed to Martha Stewart, has been haunting the Internet for some time now and has even started making it into offline cookbooks and food magazines. One-pot dishes are a massive trend, and in the USA, they’ve actually started referring to them Wonderpots – which just about sums it up!

The idea is super simple yet ingenious: take 15 minutes to prep pasta and sauce together in one pan or pot instead of cooking them separately, saving not only time but dishes as well. The result is better (and better for you) than any prepackaged mixed, I swear! ;-)

If you want to save even more time, simply use 800 g of canned tomatoes (two normal-sized cans) instead of water and cherry tomatoes. As long as the canned tomatoes are free of any flavor enhancers and the like, it all still fits into the Clean Eating concept.

There’s now a whole slew of books covering “One Pot” recipes like this one from Martha Stewart’s editorial team and this one from Williams-Sonoma.

Meanwhile, here’s Martha’s classic One-Pot Pasta recipe:
